Strategy-Survival RPG Project Afterfall Hits 1.0 in November, Final Early Access

Project Afterfall is a single-player and co-op dark survival-strategy RPG which takes players to a post-apocalyptic setting with fantasy elements. After a Steam Early Access launch last year, it’s now preparing to hit version 1.0.

First, a bit of history: Project Afterfall takes place in the same universe as Thea: The Awakening and Thea 2: The Shattering, fantasy turn-based games set in a world that’s inspired by Slavic mythology. The “retro-futuristic urban fantasy” setting doesn’t let go of those elements, but it’s a noticeable evolution with a sharper edge that affects both visuals and gameplay.

After roughly a year in early access, MuHa Games has announced Project Afterfall will hit its 1.0 release on November 3, 2026, on Steam and GOG. Right now, players can also play an early single-player demo and/or jump early into the strategy-RPG, as Update 9 added substantial combat reworks, fixes, another round of polish, and even Steam achievements.
