This cozy turn-based strategy board game is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, with Xbox Play Anywhere support included. The Xbox Store price is £15.49.
Developed and published by Monster Couch, Flamecraft invites up to five players to compete for reputation while building a charming town filled with artisan dragons, magical enchantments and some surprisingly important resource-management decisions.

Welcome To A Town Where Dragons Do The Work
Flamecraft takes place in a vibrant fantasy world where dragons and magic are part of everyday life. As a Flamekeeper, your job is to help artisan dragons find their place among the town’s many shops, allowing them to put their special flamecraft skills to work.
That could mean helping bake treats at Guilty Treasures or sending enchanted letters from Scale Mail Post. The tasks might sound fairly ordinary, but the dragons bring plenty of personality to the proceedings.
The main objective is to earn more reputation points than your rivals, and doing so requires some careful planning. You’ll place artisan dragons in shops, gather resources and use those materials to cast enchantments that can trigger powerful combinations.
Resource Management With A Fiery Twist
The town is built collectively, with players taking actions that can benefit everyone. Enchanting shops improves the shared environment, while certain dragons allow players to gift resources to others.
That doesn’t mean Flamecraft is entirely cooperative, though. You’ll still need to think carefully about your own progression and find ways to turn available resources into valuable scoring opportunities.
Fancy Dragons bring additional abilities that can increase your reputation, while Companion cards provide further ways to earn points. There isn’t one guaranteed route to victory, so the best strategy will depend on the dragons, shops and opportunities available during each game.
Solo Play Or A Gathering Of Flamekeepers
Flamecraft supports both solo and multiplayer play, allowing you to compete against AI opponents with different difficulty levels or create a more relaxed custom game.
You can also play with friends or other players online, making the game suitable for everything from a quiet solo session to a more competitive gathering around the digital tabletop.
Across its colourful town, Flamecraft features more than 70 animated dragons and 30 unique shops. The presentation is based on the illustrated world created by Sandara Tang, with 3D shops, booths and laboratories bringing the setting to life.
Having previously worked on digital adaptations of Wingspan and Quilts and Cats of Calico, Monster Couch is no stranger to bringing popular tabletop experiences to screens. For Flamecraft, the studio is joined by composer Paweł Górniak, who also worked on those two games.
Flamecraft is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch for £15.49 (Xbox Store price). With its combination of charming dragons, accessible-looking strategy and deeper resource management, it offers a pleasant alternative to the usual digital board game fare – especially if your ideal fantasy adventure involves opening a bakery rather than slaying anything.
